| Beauty Tips SUMMER HAIR-WEAR It's time to start thinking about Summer Hair. You're getting your body ready for the swim suit and preparing the hair shouldn't be any different. First start thinking about what your plans are for the summer. *swimming? *vacationing? Consult with your stylist on your plans to help devise a plan that will give you the ease of hair care and keep your hair healthy while you are enjoying your summer. Here are a few styles that might work for you this summer. *SWIMMING - use a per-conditioner on the hair before hitting the pool. AS SOON AS YOU GET OUT OF THE POOL, rinse the hair thoroughly and shampoo. *VACATIONING - braids, twist, curly hair extensions. These three styles require minimal upkeep which will give you more time to have fun. The styles last about 2 - 3 months which saves salon time and funds! (we're always interested in that). *PRECAUTIONS - we spend a lot of time talking about sun exposure and skin protection. But not as much time talking about protecting the hair. If you're hanging out in the sun, remember to apply some type of sun screen on the hair, especially the ends. Extended exposure to ANY element, whether it's sun, heat, chlorine, etc the hair can dry out. Use a moisturizing conditioner throughout the summer. Wear hats and remember to secure the hair before you jump into the pool or at the beach to avoid tangles. Whatever your plans are you should be able to coordinate your style to meet your needs.
