Winter-rise Your Hair...
Hair and skin have endured the brunt of a long, hard winter.
How do you get it ready for the Spring?
Scalp: Try a hot oil treatment. There are many self-heating
treatments on the market that can heat up by simply rubbing
it into the scalp.
Skin: The skin and scalp may feel dry and flaky. Increase the
moisture level in your skin care cream. Don't forget to get a
facial monthly to hydrate and nourish the skin.
Hair: Moisturize hair with a rich, cream conditioner after
shampooing and sit under a hooded dryer for maximum
penetration.
Daily Care: normally you may not apply any moisturizer or
sheen to the hair on a daily basis but in the winter calls for
another approach. Use a lite oil on the hair every couple of
days to help soften strands and reduce brittleness and
breakage that often comes from dry, parched scalp and hair.
